Here are a few words about me. I am a retired Police Officer of the India Police Service (HP:1988). I served the Police department for more than 33 long years in various capacities and do nurture an illusion (like all cops do) that I know a lot about policing, crime, investigation and the like. Therefore, I sometimes feel an over-powering urge to share stories and anecdotes which I encountered during my policing career.
I shall be telling the truth, though limited by my oath of secrecy, because I don't believe in cheap publicity (as some bureaucrats have done) by disclosing state secrets. Purpose of my storytelling will be purely entertainment. Or may be at certain places I shall be sharing my views on matters concerning law and order and policing. Obviously, the stage-setting will be in Indian police and, of course the Indian criminal.
